Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 04-04-18 Any views on any of these tyres I need front and back bridgestone bt 016 bridgestone bt s21 Michelin Pilot Power 2CT I am not looking for a massively long lasting tyre. Both are good tyres though imo.
I am a bit of an odd one in that I am looking for a tyre that wears down quick because my tyres get old before they get worn and so I end up keep them too long. I have an 023 on the front and an 021 on the back at the moment and I do under 1000 miles a year. Don't be so tight, just get another gardener to join the team, you will find 10 men work better than 9 anyway. :rolleyes Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT - fazersharp - 04-04-18 (04-04-18, 07:14 PM)daviee link Wrote: i have pilot road 2 s 2cts a friend had the same bike with pilot power 2cts felt the same he never had a problem neither did iThanks Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 05-04-18 Just been looking into metzeler m7 rr and could be in the running Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 06-04-18 (05-04-18, 08:07 PM)fazersharp link Wrote: Just been looking into metzeler m7 rr and could be in the runningUPDATE - I went for a set of Metzeler M7RR Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - unfazed - 06-04-18 (06-04-18, 07:03 PM)fazersharp link Wrote:
UPDATE - I went for a set of Metzeler M7RR
I have them on the 1000, takes a little longer than the PR3/4 to warm up, but when they do :woot Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 06-04-18 Looks like I am not going to get these properly scrubbed in until end of next week when it stops raining Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 07-04-18 (06-04-18, 08:46 PM)unfazed link Wrote:
UPDATE - I went for a set of Metzeler M7RR
I have them on the 1000, takes a little longer than the PR3/4 to warm up, but when they do :woot
Interesting to hear you say that because part of the advertising that had me convinced is that they warm up quickly and good for cold days as well as hot. To do with the 20% harder centre section underlining the softer 40% edge and passing the heat from the centre to the sides. (Told you I was convinced ) Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - unfazed - 07-04-18 Fazersharp, they do warm up quickly but not like the Pr3/4 which appear to be up to temp in half a mile, I would not push the M7 until at least a mile. I have never lost traction with them, but their optium definitely takes a little longer. Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - unfazed - 07-04-18 Fazersharp, just to add, thats on a fairly abrasive tar and chip road from my house with a few nice left and right corners, not a nice smooth road in an estate or the like. By the time I get the 2 and a bit miles to the main road they are good and hot and ready for anything ![]() Oh some advice especially for you, they are fuck all use on ice or on hydraulic oil from tractors :lol Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 07-04-18 (07-04-18, 02:51 PM)unfazed link Wrote: Oh some advice especially for you, they are fuck all use on ice or on hydraulic oil from tractors :lol:thumbup Re: Tyres Help bt-016/ s21/ PP 2CT metzeler m7 rr - fazersharp - 06-05-18 Update - now I think they are scrubbed in 8) |
