How is this a meaningful deterrent? - slappy - 08-12-17 Should have chopped their hands off, that might deter them! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-leeds-42273176/leeds-motorbike-theft-gang-banned-from-touching-vehicles Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - Grayo - 08-12-17 Errrrr.........!!!! Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - red98 - 08-12-17 Do they really think that banning them from touching vehicles without the owners consent is going to stop them :rolleyes as GRAYO...lock the bastards up.... Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - steve 10562cc - 08-12-17 Fingers, rear sprocket, chain, turn wheel. Stop them producing any more little theving clones in the future Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - steve 10562cc - 10-12-17 Dam tommy you've changed my way of thinking now that's a far better way than mine of using a chain and sprocket. Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - fatbloke62 - 10-12-17 Just about sums up our great judicial service, for these low life wankers Christmas just came early. I'm a great believer in what goes around comes around and in the near future I hope they get taught to be respectful of people's hard earned property Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - acid drop - 10-12-17 Hang the Bastards Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - Wharfe - 11-12-17 Just caught this - I'm near speechless.... I live near Leeds, ride in there quite often. It's comforting (not) to know that there appears to effectively be an open season on bikes in that particular city now if the best our (taxpayer-funded) magistrates can manage is a no-touchy injunction (which even Frickin' lapses after a year FFS!!). Now I'm a fairly liberal soul, me, against capital punishment, not impressed with the deterrent created by long prison sentences, but christ-on-a-bleedin-moped, they must be laffin' their thieving cocks off. I despair. Really, get these scrotes employed for a year tidying some of the shit up round Leeds. Lord knows there's enough of it. Re: How is this a meaningful deterrent? - Oldgit - 11-12-17 what's wrong with branding them on the forehead with (Thief) I think that would do the business.
