multigauge question - Woodzey80 - 05-11-17 Has anyone with the gauge fitted the extra 3rd button for changing between view modes ? If so how do you fit it in laymans terms !?! Thanks Re: multigauge question - reggit - 07-11-17 Can’t help yet, but I’ll watch with interest! I was going to have a play with that wire over winter to see if it was worth connecting. Re: multigauge question - blackcabbie - 08-11-17 its all on christians multiguage website....... the 3rd button switches 12v onto the outside temperature sensor wire via a resistor and a diode that are soldered onto that wire...... i think i already did this on the guage i sold you ..... the cct diagram for this is somewhere on christians website... cheers Re: multigauge question - Woodzey80 - 08-11-17 The separate circuit board you supplied was for connecting up the fuel calculation feature to the gauge. As for the 3rd button mod you had spliced a wire onto the external temperature sensor but this was just bare & going to nothing. Christians site does show the wiring diagram (with additional resistor & diode) for the 3rd button but does not show where the button fits into the circuit. Re: multigauge question - blackcabbie - 08-11-17 the bare wire goes to one side of black push button and the other side of button goes to 12v |
