Looking for an foxeye nose fairing, DPMB, good condition - wtiger46 - 05-07-17 Don't suppose anyone is parting out a bike with a nose that isn't all rashed up? Bike got knocked over (no note ...), and I want to restore it to glory, Ideally without paying £200 for a new OEM one. Re: Looking for an foxeye nose fairing, DPMB, good condition - Barold - 05-07-17 Hi It might be cheaper to get it repaired. A basic fibreglass repair kit costs about £15, but the results may well not be beautiful. Alternatively there are various places that do fairing repairs. Places like these: http://www.carbodyrepairsfareham.co.uk/motorbike-paint-repairs http://www.arnoldsfairings.co.uk/ claim to restore to showroom quality for significantly less than the cost of new parts. I should point out that I've not used either of these - mine needs some tlc too so I've done a little research, but haven't got round to getting off my arse and doing any more about it yet. |
