Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - Tubz1983 - 23-05-17 Litteraly never used the choke to start the fazer, ever, it just bogs it down and stalls it if i try and ever utilize it during startup. Cold mornings sometimes it will start with a touch of the button, or if not just a whiff of throttle imput. Hot days is different As i have to hold the starter down and pump the throttle slightly but it always starts and runs etc... just wondering why this would be ? Re: Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - Gnasher - 23-05-17 Yes, Fazers run rich. Re: Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - kgjersda - 23-05-17 This also means that when I fitted my new DNA-air filter it doesn't risk of running too lean? Re: Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - Bretty - 23-05-17 Perhaps your choke is stuck on! ? Re: Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - BBROWN1664 - 23-05-17 maybe not normal, but not uncommon on an FZS New air filters and cans don not need carbs rejetting as they run rich to start with. Re: Never needed the choke ever? Is this normal? ! - Wookee - 25-05-17 I've never used mine either! I get a regular 52mpg on it too, so if it is running rich it's doing so very frugally 8) |
