FZS 1000 Manual Cam chain tensioner - Gaz66 - 21-05-17 On ebay... Just ordered one. Paid double this for my CBR600.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-fazer-fz-1-fzs-1000-2001-2005-manual-cam-chain-tensioner-adjuster-mcct-/252928211556?hash=item3ae3b23a64:g:ScAAAOSw-W5UzpJb £35.99 plus £3.99 P&P Re: FZS 1000 Manual Cam chain tensioner - sirgalahad3 - 21-05-17 I have fitted one of theses to mine but I'm not convinced it's worth it now to be honest. Yes it's foolproof and cannot break but the chances of having exactly the right tension on the chain at all times with manual is nil so the chain will probably wear more quickly and even snap if overtightened. You cannot win. Re: FZS 1000 Manual Cam chain tensioner - devilsyam - 21-05-17 It's worth it I've personally had to deal with three busted bikes because of this failure ignore at your peril Search youtube devilsyam and there's a vid on setting them Re: FZS 1000 Manual Cam chain tensioner - PieEater - 21-05-17 Same one I have fitted, it comes with instructions and isn't that difficult to set up. Re: FZS 1000 Manual Cam chain tensioner - solorider - 22-05-17 I have one fitted to my bike, I have had no issues and it is easy to set up. |
