Broken solenoid - chrischristopherson1313 - 26-04-17 Bike lost power (nothing not even horn when ignition on) I was suspected solenoid (but fuse is ok) I connect cable from positive straight to red /white cable from connector. All power back on (even without a key) What can it be solenoid or power on/off switch or something else? Re: Broken solenoid - Fazerider - 26-04-17 I’d guess it’s likely to be a broken wire near the ignition switch, it’s a common fault because the steering movement flexes the bundle. Re: Broken solenoid - BBROWN1664 - 27-04-17 it WONT be the solenoid. That's only used for the starter motor. As suggested above, its probably a broken wire somewhere. Re: Broken solenoid - chrischristopherson1313 - 27-04-17 All sorted. It was ignition. One if the cable loose connection. Was stolen before ![]() |
