Handlebar risers - Bimbam - 26-03-17 Hi guys. i think about buying handlebar risers. I looking at Sw-Motech with 31 mm up and 22 mm pullback. Anybody did this? Reason: I have broken my right arm twice and cant strech more than 95 ° Re: Handlebar risers - JoeyMcEssex - 27-03-17 Look Interesting, being a 5ft 7 shorta**e would be really interested in how they affect sitting position? Re: Handlebar risers - besser-is-das - 27-03-17 http://cycle-ergo.com/ not 100% , but you can get a good imagination on changes result. ( sorry for my poor english) greetings from berlin micha Re: Handlebar risers - Bimbam - 27-03-17 Hi. I know http://cycle-ergo.com/ but i would like to hear i anybody have tryed this. Re: Handlebar risers - Jamieg285 - 28-03-17 Don't forget that the risers on the Fazer aren't vertical like those in the picture. There is a curve to them so that are more like a 45 degree angle. That means any riser will aready be moving them towards the riser as well as up. The angle risers you're looking at there may be too much. Re: Handlebar risers - Jules-C - 29-03-17 I can't say I ever found it uncomfortable but feel the spacing of footrests and handlebars isn't quite right for me and either the footrests should be further back or handlebars higher so I've got 25mm SW Motech risers on mine and it made the bike feel a lot better for me. Only problem was the original brake hose was stretched to its limit so got one made up an inch longer than standard. The cables and wiring had no problems. You could probably go a bit higher if you wanted but might have to tilt the handlebars back a bit to avoid the levers hitting the fairing on full lock. Re: Handlebar risers - Bimbam - 29-03-17 Hi Jules-C. thx. You are right, the brake hose i a little too short, but i will fix that. ![]() Re: Handlebar risers - fazerfan - 06-04-17 (29-03-17, 06:42 PM)Jules-C link Wrote: I can't say I ever found it uncomfortable but feel the spacing of footrests and handlebars isn't quite right for me and either the footrests should be further back or handlebars higher so I've got 25mm SW Motech risers on mine and it made the bike feel a lot better for me. Don't suppose you could tell me where you got the clock from. Looks like the size and display I'm looking forward. Thanks. Re: Handlebar risers - Jules-C - 07-04-17 Motrax Little Ben not sure where I got it but don't think it's available any more https://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/motorcycle_parts/content_prod/6102 Should be plenty similar ones online but new bikes will all have a clock so demand will be falling Re: Handlebar risers - matt7chunk - 11-04-17 i fitted 30mm risers to day also due to a few to many broken arms lol find alot more comfortable now Re: Handlebar risers - Jules-C - 13-04-17 :thumbup |
