We've use them for 13 years now on our Fazer 1000 and the Aprilia RSV. So far, totally flawless and brilliantly useful. Re: soft panniers - Millietant - 11-03-17 Yup - a bargain as long as they're not worn out. We always put anything we definitely need to be dry in carrier bags before they go in the panniers - but the rain has never gotten past the pannier material in-use with us. Re: soft panniers - matt7chunk - 11-03-17 awesome, they look ok in pics and a good description, unused carry straps , look good on your fazer by the way Re: soft panniers - joebloggs - 11-03-17 My throwovers came with waterproof covers, lasted until I got to about 120 ... Re: soft panniers - matt7chunk - 13-03-17 just bought these for £42 posted , what you think? ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it really just that velcro holding them to the bike?? Re: soft panniers - joebloggs - 13-03-17 Put some masking tape on your tailpiece, remove the seat, put the paniers on then put the seat back. They wont go far Re: soft panniers - Millietant - 14-03-17 I'm with Joebloggs re putting the straps under the seat (keeps them on, but also saves the seat cover from damage). I'd just be wary of the masking tape though - the glue can mark plastics when left in place for a while, and it turns to mush if it gets soaked - there are clear plastic films that you can get to cover panel areas you want protecting and I'd use some of that.
