Re: Quick drain oil plug - watto 1 - 05-02-17 Do you mean this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Stahlbus-Oil-Drain-Valve-Slump-Plug-Yamaha-FZS-1000-Fazer-2005-/272382813176?hash=item3f6b47e3f8:g:ttoAAOSwzaJX4Cin Re: Quick drain oil plug - red98 - 05-02-17 Not a bad idea that :thumbup .....too many £s for me :eek Re: Quick drain oil plug - PieEater - 05-02-17 Interesting idea, I'd be happier using this on a bike that had a bottom mounted sump plug. With the Fazer I tend to leave the bike on the side stand for a while as it always seems to have a small flow of oil once the initial gush is over with and a wander if the internals of this plug would interfere with all of the oil draining out, perhaps it wouldn't matter in the scheme of things if a few cc's of old oil remained, just throwing it out there. Re: Quick drain oil plug - Kenbob - 05-02-17 Yes that's the one. There are a couple of companies that make versions of a quick plug but this one looks to be the best looking. Re: Quick drain oil plug - pilninggas - 05-02-17 i bought a stahlbus for my gen2, it didn't fit! Will put it on the FZR1000 when I do the next oil change, as it should fit. |
