Selling Up (400 parts & my bike) - jackson1995 - 25-01-17

Hi all , decided to sell my bike as I dont use it anymore really and ive got some other parts, if your interested let me know and may be able to sort packaging for the smaller parts or may need collection from Vauxhall, London.

Bike is a 1998 Fazer 400
has A2 license restriction certificate and come with the restrictors...
20500 miles
different headlight and wide bars.
Make me an offer Smile

parts wise..
got a set of carbs , one of the chokes is broken off.
front airing
screen
headlight
stock exhaust
mirrors and mounts

again just make me a offer as they're only sitting there.

Hello

The headlight is it the one that both sides come on ? I got a fazer 2000 600 box eye and I heard that the 400 one both sides come on at the same time is this true ?

Hi , yea as far as I've read that's right for the 400, but just looking at the light I'd say it's for a 600 and someone's swapped it out...

Hi mate

I owe a 2001 Yamaha FZS600 Fazer and I'm currently looking for the headlight fairing, was wondering if it was the same one on your 400?

Hi mate , sorry couldn't say for sure but I know the headlights fit the same and the bikes basically identical so I would think yes , attached some closer photos so you can see . Cheers

Yeah I see what you mean it's so hard to tell, they look the same but in a way it also look thinner than my one but I'm not sure they could very well be the same :rolleyes

Measure the fittings closest in the photo and it's 13.5" and since the headlights are the same if that back is right then think you'll be good! Think the frames are the same size as well so think it is ok

cool, yea i remember seeing that post actually! only bad part about it is that right side black panel has broken the mounting hole on the right (can just see it in the picture , but if you just want the red bit its all good, drop me a pm and we can sort something, cheers Smile

Hi mate, can't lie im interested as i really need the front fairing to go on my fazer 600, what part of it is broken? Couldnt see it in photos. Sorry to be difficuit lol.

Haha no worries , if you look at the picture from say where you'd be looking sitting on the bike , that black panel that runs horizontal down the the left and right , the right side price has broken the mount closest to you

The 600 fairing part number starts with 4yr which means they took it from the 400 bike so it should fit no problem but you'd be mad to sell it. You'll sell your bike a lot easier if it's in original condition.

I know it would sell a lot easier but I don't rehabs the mounting frame it all bolts too and the only one I can find is like £100?

The 400 and 600 fairing mounts are the same. You should be able to find a 600 one cheap enough. Someone on here might have one
