V trec shorty levers - Kenbob - 11-12-16 so i put these on last week in place of the standard levers and I can honestly say they're brilliant. Just saying ![]() Re: V trec shorty levers - knyght - 23-12-16 I have these on mine too. Really good quality and look decent. FYI You can get them here: http://www.motea.com/en/brake--and-clutch-levers-c985.htm Re: V trec shorty levers - MarkW - 23-12-16 What's the advantage of shorter leavers other than aesthetics? Do they take more effort to operate than longer levers due to there being less distance to the pivot? I have short levers on mine too btw, was just wondering. Cheers Re: V trec shorty levers - Dudeofrude - 23-12-16 (23-12-16, 11:20 AM)MarkW link Wrote: What's the advantage of shorter leavers other than aesthetics? I personally only use 2 fingers to brake so it's nicer to use a shorty than a full length lever. It really just comes down to personal preference Re: V trec shorty levers - Andy W - 23-12-16 I bought my fuel cap from Motea, good quality & price! ![]() Re: V trec shorty levers - Kenbob - 23-12-16 Apart from the adjustable span which is a real bonus i haven't noticed any increase in pull strength, as above i too use two fingers for clutch and brake but it's strange that the brake feels so much better with the short levers, don't know why it just does. |
