noisy clutch? - ogri48 - 15-11-16 fellers...my clutch is noisier with the lever out than when its in, not a lot, and i know theres bound to be a bit because the plates are disengaged..is it worth whipping the cover off to have a gander this weekend or are they all like that? i thought the biting point was a bit high when i bought it but its fine in use and i was comparing it to my zzr11 at the time which only has 6k on the clock (fazer has 30) Re: noisy clutch? - tex - 15-11-16 Don't worry orgi they all do it Re: noisy clutch? - PieEater - 15-11-16 :agree Re: noisy clutch? - ogri48 - 15-11-16 thanks guys. and its ogri, not orgi (chance would be a fine thing...) ![]() Re: noisy clutch? - bludclot - 18-11-16 The rattle is fixable, I sorted mine: http://foc-u.co.uk/index.php/topic,1755.msg16624.html#msg16624 Unfortunately the pictures have disappeared, basically I had the springs in the back of the clutch basket welded to stop them rattling, noise still gone to this day. Re: noisy clutch? - ogri48 - 18-11-16 Good thread ta mate. I've kinda got used to it now, I'll leave well alone unless it's gets problematic. Thanks again feller |
