took it for a run. - taylor - 25-09-16 i was going to sell, but took it out today and that changed my mind, what a amazing bike.. Re: took it for a run. - mtread - 25-09-16 Indeed. I took mine for a track day on Friday. Reminded me what a fantastic bike they are ![]() Re: took it for a run. - darrsi - 26-09-16 Was following a Kwaka ER600 on the way home from work earlier, looks much better than the ER5 but still sounds like a total shitter. My mechanic used to give me an ER5 as a courtesy bike and it was like riding a skip with an engine compared to my bike. Get a Fazer in good nick running sweet and you can't ask for much more. Re: took it for a run. - Anquetil - 27-09-16 I have just bought this 2003 Fazer with 6000 miles on the clock. Only done a short ride but was suitably impressed. Re: took it for a run. - Buzz - 27-09-16 So THAT'S what mine looked like when new!!...I've always wondered. :lol Re: took it for a run. - fazersharp - 27-09-16 :eek 6000 and I thought I didn't ride mine enough, nice find - well done. I see that your rear guard has already been cut down, I would suggest that you move the numberplate up and over the reflector right under the rear light. You may need a new plate so that you use the same guard holes. I think it looks better, but I do have a hugger AND I dont do rain, so not sure if spray is a problem. The picture was before I fitted a reflector on the bottom of the plate, some people add a stick on dot reflector on the plate to comply with mot. Rear mudguard looks as standard as the rest of the silver bike (all bar the crash protection n the double bubble). Maybe just an extra large number plate fitted?.. ps There's still no red rear reflector on the black boxeye ![]() |
