Edinburgh hotels? - locksmith - 16-08-16

Thinking of taking a weekend break in Edinburgh.
Looking for a hotel close to the railway station and suitably placed for all the tourist spots.
Don't want a budget hotel, a nice one at a reasonable price.

Any recommendations chaps ?

This place is nowhere near! About 8miles away near Peebles but an absolutely lovely place!

I assume you're travelling by train and this is no used to you, but I would highly recommend this place to anyone else.
I have no connection to the place, but have stayed there twice and both times it's been great.

Does look lovely, but as you assumed I would be arriving by train!

What is a reasonable price? Don't even consider the Ritz, apparently the Pitz.

The Parliament House Hotel - stayed there last year.

Reasonable price? good question, dont mind spending say £250-£300 for 2 nights for a double room.

I've stayed in the glasshouse before which is an ok location (next door to the playhouse) and the hotel itself is nice. Can't remember how much it was though, it wasn't that cheap I so remember that :lol

I have also stayed in the number 11 hotel, and the George hotel.

The George hotel was excellent and is central but you pay for the privilege.

Would stay at any of those three again Smile

The Hotel Indigo is great and there is a new one opening soon

Cheers guys, the George looks just the job!
