tank painting - Kentish - 04-08-16 some of the pain has come off the front of a fazer tank i have bought from ebay. does anyone no a company that can sort it without spraying the whole tank? Re: tank painting - Frosties - 04-08-16 Wouldn't have thought there's much cost difference between "paint a patch" and "paint the tank" to be honest. Hard to say WITHOUT FECKING PICTURES -WE LIKE PICTURES WE DO!! :pokefun Re: tank painting - joebloggs - 05-08-16 (04-08-16, 10:16 PM)Kentish link Wrote: some of the pain has come off the front of a fazer tank i have bought from ebay. does anyone no a company that can sort it without spraying the whole tank? I've had a local repair done on a fairing, was quite a saving although may have been mostly due to not having to replace all the decals. Try ringing around your local body shops, first asking for a price for a complete respray then a price for the small repair. Re: tank painting - Fazer99 - 05-08-16 Depends on how big the area needing local spray is, also where on the tank it is. If there is no damage and no Decals to replace then a garage would more than likely just re-spray the whole thing as I doubt they would mix up enough paint just for a small patch plus there is the blending issue. |
