vibration @6k since engine was put back in. - Sandscorcher - 18-07-16 Morning all. Had a nice ride down to Whitby & Skegness yesterday but vibrations caused problems. Found that riding with revs at roughly 6k my fingers & thumb were going numb! I know I'll be told not to ride at 6k revs :rolleyes Anyway I had the engine out over the winter (dredded snapped header bolts & eng repaint) Also put now chain & sprockets on at same time & ever since there's been a vibrations. What I'd like to know, is there a specific sequence to bolting the end back in ? Cheers in advance for any sane replies. Re: vibration @6k since engine was put back in. - HarryHornby - 18-07-16 It sounds like you've turned your "faulty" Fazer into a perfectly normal one. The 6k buzz is normal for the FZS600 ![]() Balancing the carbs can help, have you done that since putting the engine back in? Re: vibration @6k since engine was put back in. - Sandscorcher - 18-07-16 No I haven't re balance the carbs. I'll take her out for a wee run sometime this week if I have time after work & get them ballanced. Cheers fella.
