Paddock stand bobbins - Brettholmes89 - 09-07-16 I've got a 1999 fazer 600, want to put some bobbins on for the paddock stands I've just got. Anyone put them on? Is there a certain place to pu them on the swing arm or is it just a case of drill and tap? I can make my own I just want to clarify where to put them ![]() Re: Paddock stand bobbins - joebloggs - 09-07-16 Weld some bar to underside of the arm then drill and tap that. Not done it but wouldn't want the weight of the bike hanging on 3mm of thread Re: Paddock stand bobbins - Brettholmes89 - 10-07-16 I've drilled and tapped the swing arm. Two m6 bolts. A 8.8 6mm has about 1.6 shear capacity so a fazer isn't going to shear two m6 bolts. ![]() Quickly turned some out of aluminium and gave them a quick polish.
