Euro '16 - Exupnut - 12-06-16

That was more fun to watch than the football.

Re: Euro '16 - Skippernick - 12-06-16

Re: Euro '16 - joebloggs - 12-06-16

There's talk of disqualification if the violence continues, personally I think it should be automatic. They're turning cities into battle grounds.

Re: Euro '16 - esetest - 12-06-16

I'm very happy to be an England fan , and in the stadium it was Russians climbing barriers and  attacking  families and disabled  fans ,  also if i'm having a drink with my mates in a bar and some cunt throws a chair at me , i won't be turning the other cheek , it's typical lazy journalism and because its England it sells papers , hardly any mention of the trouble between Northern Ireland and the Polish .

Re: Euro '16 - Skippernick - 12-06-16

I liked the fact the the Telegraph called our supporters "fans" and the Russian supporters "thugs" what shit writing as if our supporters are all goody two shoes.

Re: Euro '16 - HarryHornby - 12-06-16

I'm ashamed to be English hearing what's going on out in France.  If I were Europe I would be hoping we vote Brexit!

Maybe that is just it, they hate us for wanting or even thinking of voting out and so are lashing out.

Well I have searched for trouble between N Ireland fans and Polish fans at this years Euros, unless I missed it , it did not happen.

English fans have always been trouble away from home , get a few pints down them and sadly a few gobshites kick off and that is all it takes. I reckon England and Russia will both be kicked out and banned for the next world cup as well. Honestly who reall gives a shite about international football anyway.

Re: Euro '16 - bludclot - 14-06-16

if we vote brexit on the 23rd we won't be in any further european tournemounts anyway so our opening games this year won't matter....

I heard it on the main ITN news , and have just googled it  , also on BBC news Belfast Telegraph , and Daily Telegraph, the reports also mention French youths being involved  .

It might be the wake up call the game needs to get some respect into the game. You only have to watch a premiership game on the TV and you will see how spoilt the players are thinking they can get away with anything on the pitch. This cascades down to the supporters and we get the mayhem.

IIRC, years ago, it was a gentleman's game and the players were well behaved on the pitch.

Re: Euro '16 - BIG MAC - 14-06-16

Sadly there are a very small number of Engs who probably for 90% of their life work and save hard to go to tournaments but when they get there have a few sherries and think they are Vinnie Jones...They aren't ..what they are is a puerile disgrace and they disgrace their fellow Countrymen with their infantile behaviour. How on earth can we decry someone getting a hearty slap in the mouth when they deserve it? Now the sad thing is that a number of genuine peaceful people have been and always will be caught up in the crossfire and this is where English football needs to be tougher than a French Magistrate..They should be prosecuting civil cases if needs be for demonstrable loss to reputation and enhanced policing costs..if this means that a feral wanker loses his house..tough luck.

It might work but then again, many of the trouble makers probably don't have a pot to piss in and spend half their time in the clink already so don't see it as a threat. Free bed and board looks good to some muppets.

Re: Euro '16 - locksmith - 14-06-16

When you are an England fan abroad there are certain formalities you must follow.

You must have a shaved head.
You must not wear a shirt.
You must at all times have a beer in your hand.
You must at all times hold both arms up in the air (except while drinking said beer)
You must sing racist and we won the war type songs at every opportunity when in sight of any Johnny Foreigners.
You must as often as practically possible, shout IN GER LUND while looking up at the sky. (works especially well while holding your arms up).
You must if questioned at all blame the Police and a mystery group of balaclava wearing activists.
You must book your ticket home to coincide with the final group stage match.
