Bike runs great at lower rpm starts and idles good bike is bone stock. I was headed down the highway the other day and after about 5 minutes at 65mph 5k rpm the bike started to cut out very bad almost like turning the switch off and on. Was very speratic, got off the highway onto back roads and if i kept it under say 3k 3500 rpm it was fine. I tried to bypass the fuel pump relay and that didnt help, i pulled the breather put of the gas cap, nothing. has a new pump, new plugs, coils read 163ohms book calles for 150 +- 10%. Im lost i live the bike but this has me stumped Re: Newbie - downey - 25-05-16 Christ that a mad lookin yoke rags .a nice front end would finish it nicely Moyerdf get the carbs seen too :thumbup Re: Newbie - Rags110 - 25-05-16 well been busy today...delkevic headers on..check...moto gp pipe on...check...front bikini fairing on..check,all that needs doing now is,cover seat, wire koto speedo up.. :rolleyes pik up tailpiece from paint shop Tax,MOT,Insurance then RIDE.. :lol Re: Newbie - NorthWestern - 25-05-16 Looking good Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Re: Newbie - Rags110 - 05-06-16 Well few weeks down the line and only a couple more jobs to do before mot...sort this poxy koso speed sensor out, and fix my tail hump in position as not taking any passengers...????? Stunning! :b Alot of "advanced" modifications carried out. Infact a lot of stuff that I've been dreaming of for mine. :lol Do you know where the rear tail fabrication and fit was done, as that was on when you bought this bike? |
