ECU Key Code Extraction - noor12389 - 17-05-16 Hi guys! Newbie here. I own a yamaha FZ1N Gen 2 (2007 Model) I recently lost all my keys (including red master key) and now I can't start the bike at all. Any of you know how to extract the key code from the ECU? (Denso TBDF20 2D1-8591A-20) I have a piasini which can extract the key codes but do not know which pin of the ECU to connect to. Any of you have any idea? Or the pinout diagram perhaps? Urgent ![]() Re: ECU Key Code Extraction - PaulSmith - 18-05-16 Sorry, but that is not the information that should be posted on a public forum. Contact a Yamaha dealer and they will sort you out. Re: ECU Key Code Extraction - noor12389 - 19-05-16 I was hoping someone could just give a diagram on a private message or something. The Yamaha dealer here wants to charge $1600- to replace the ecu. That's almost half the cost of getting a 2nd hand FZ1 don't you think? I'm just asking for the pinout and terminals that's all. Re: ECU Key Code Extraction - PaulSmith - 19-05-16 Five minutes on ebay found cheaper options that do not involve posting security sensitive information to someone who has never posted here before. I will understand if you take this the wrong way, but I do not trust you. Re: ECU Key Code Extraction - noor12389 - 19-05-16 I don't see how its "security sensitive" information :rollin 1 minute of combing through google and I'd be able to find the pinout diagrams of almost all the major bike models (gixxer, yzf, and so on) EXCEPT our beloved Fazer. Sorry to say but if the majority of bike riders out there share your "distrust" then information sharing won't take place. I could always send the ECU to 3rd party companies who could flash/extract key codes or remove the immobilizer even. But point is, I want to keep my ecu instead of replacing it with an Ebay set which I do not know the history of and 2. I do not want to remove the immobilizer. Anyway, I'm not seeking for your "trust" so if you can't/refuse to help, I guess you can move along. Good day! |
