Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 25-04-16 At 56 years old, and a lifetime of being a builder, I'm taking three years out to go to university and chase my own particular dream. As such, my beautiful Yamaha has to go, and be replaced by summat cheaper and more commuter friendly. So... The all black gen2, probably the best looking bike ever built. Straight thru cans, Ecu re flashed to stage two by micha, pc5,k and n filter, set up by bsd tuning Peterborough, recent tyres, sprocket cover, chain guard and side covers professionally painted black in 2k, mileage 10k ( I think, could be less, bike us at home and I work away)all Oe spares including cans and exup valve heated grips, bar end mirrors etc all for less than some are asking for gen ones on e bay..£6500 firm 07841 656175 paul ps bike is in Forest of Dean but I've got a big vanso delivery possible...took me a year to find this bike in this colour... Re: Gen two mt01 - mickvp - 25-04-16 That thing is an absolute BAD BOY. Wish I had the cash ![]() Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 25-04-16 Sounds as good as it looks mick....;-)90 mph is 3000 rpm, it's like cruising on a Lancaster bomber... Re: Gen two mt01 - brooker81 - 26-04-16 Want soooooooooooooooo much. Re: Gen two mt01 - noggythenog - 26-04-16 I wanted one of them a while back they are so bad ass & sound immense. Out of my league unfortunately but someone will get a nice bike there Paul & it'll have been well looked after by you. Hope you get a quick sale 8) Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 26-04-16 Cheers fellers yup it's been well Looked after.. Got until September to sell it so not too worried about a quick sale inevitably/doubtless it will end up on eBay once the sun starts shining proper, and I'll ask another 500 sovs ;-) Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 01-05-16 Alternatively, I'll clean the chain on a wet breezy Sunday morning, and realise if I lose it I'll never get another, so decide to man up, use it all year as God intended, stop being so precious about it, and keep it...:-) Re: Gen two mt01 - noggythenog - 01-05-16 (01-05-16, 12:58 PM)ogri48 link Wrote: Alternatively, I'll clean the chain on a wet breezy Sunday morning, and realise if I lose it I'll never get another, so decide to man up, use it all year as God intended, stop being so precious about it, and keep it...:-) Nahhhh......you cant ride that in the rain no way. Out of interest Ogri, what's the difference between the gen 1 & gen 2 anyway? Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 01-05-16 Yup I'm keeping it nogster.. Main difference is the six pot front calipers, different master cylinders and colour options. Having said that the Ecu in the gen two is a total git..gen one has a rp12 Ecu which is easily remapped by a piggy backed power commander, gen two has a rp12 which had a " closed loop", makes it impossible to re map so has to be re flashed to stage two or rp12 spec by a German feller on the owners forum. Bit of a bugger and not cheap mate :-) Re: Gen two mt01 - slimwilly - 03-05-16 You in the Forest now ? Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 03-05-16 Yes mate, the wonderfully named "sling" near coleford :-) Re: Gen two mt01 - slimwilly - 05-05-16 There was a big bike meet near you last night, about 400 bikes,on the Gloucester road , nearer to Gloucester. I went on my Blade ![]() Re: Gen two mt01 - ogri48 - 07-05-16 I'm away most of the time bud, all my work is in Peterborough, o get home two days out of every fourteen |
