Rentec Grab rail - Metal Merv - 13-02-16
I've brought a Rentec Grab Rail for my FZ1n 2007 model and if I take the front two bolts out of the sub frame and try to fit the rail there is approximately a 2.5cm gap between the rail and the sub frame. If I put bolts in to try and pull it down it pulls the rear sub frame fairing down.
Has anyone else had this problem with this grab rail as have spoken to Rentec and they say that it is ok to fit like this!
Also there are little gaps in the fairing which to me looks like where the front grab rail should line up with the cut outs in the fairing.
Anyone have any ideas or have fitted a different make of grab rail.

sorted grabrail.had to take seat strap off and put couple of 5mm spacers on the front 2 bolts to hold rail up from rear fairing.i also put to washers under seat catch on rear seat to lower the catch.job done.so much easier to pull on to padock stand rather than holding rear fairing.feels much safer doing it that way. think I am gonna enjoy my fz1 even more when the summer gets here.
