How can I find something like this?!!! - kukiz1984 - 25-01-16 Hi I have installed givi stoplight in my e52 top box but for some reason it has stopped working after a few months. I removed those lights today a saw that 6 bulb circuit is damaged. Does anyone know If I can replace these without buying a whole thing? thx a lot. Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - pilninggas - 25-01-16 It's a bit hard to tell, but it doesn't even look soldered. Soldering all those components to the copper tracks will surely help. Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - characticus - 25-01-16 Should be easy enough to solder in replacement bulbs. I assume remaining four are working ok? Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - kukiz1984 - 25-01-16 That's the thing the whole circuit doesn't work anymore, I was trying to find replacement bulbs on the internet but no luck. Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - NorthWestern - 25-01-16 You could find the fault by going round the bulb pins with a small battery, like a AA one or similar. The circuit should provide power to all bulbs at once so moving where you put the pos/neg power should show where a break is. Try cpc Farnell for bulbs Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - chaz - 25-01-16 search 12v capless bulbs on ebay, look on the bulb to see watts, if non of the other bulbs are working they have either blown or theres a break in the pcb circuit, you could mend it with solder when you solder the new bulbs in. Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - kukiz1984 - 25-01-16 Thx a lot for all your replies guys. Will try to get some new bulbs and solder it back together Re: How can I find something like this?!!! - pilninggas - 25-01-16 (25-01-16, 09:14 PM)kukiz1984 link Wrote: Thx a lot for all your replies guys. or replace the bulbs with 12v leds - loads on the bay in all colours. |
