Is Top1 semi synthetic oil(20w50) suitable for Fzs400? - yamasaki - 19-01-16

Hey guys, I'm using top1 semi synthetic oil (20w50) in my 1997 Fzs400 just bought 2 weeks ago, but I don't know if this oil suit for my bike. Do I need to use fully synthetic oil instead?

Recommended oil for the Fazer 400 is the motorcycle specific 10W40 semi-synthetic. no need to use the more expensive fully synthetic.

I see some Top1 oils are suitable for wet clutches, so long as the one you're considering has JASO MA, MA1 or MA2 on the label you should be OK.
20W50 is a little thicker than ideal unless you live in a warmer part of the world.

It's about 10°C to 2 °C here, it's it ok for using 20w50 oils?

If the temperature you'll be riding it is over 10ºC you'll be OK with 20W50, though 10W40 will make starting easier.
With hotter conditions, 40ºC+ the heavier oil is the better choice.
