What this tyre still seal, would you fit this tyre - b1k3rdude - 18-01-16 I have found a set of very cheap "as new" tyres, but then find out why they are so cheap - see attached. What do more exp. and pro's among us think..? Re: What this tyre still seal, would you fit this tyre - BBROWN1664 - 18-01-16 It might seal but I wouldn't fit it. The question has to be asked, how did it get damaged? Major kerbing that damaged the rim? Agree with BB - wouldn't stick them on my bike. Either kerbing or the tyre leaver getting them off has damaged the bead. Re: What this tyre still seal, would you fit this tyre - b1k3rdude - 18-01-16 Thanks chaps, I was leaning the same way. That and 2 bike shops have said the same thing. Re: What this tyre still seal, would you fit this tyre - sadlonelygit - 18-01-16 think what will happen if you get a total deflation at 50mph.............does that scare you. if no, go up in 10mph increments until it does. You would want to be nuts to put that any where your bike let alone on a rim. :rolleyes The fact you are asking even worries me more :eek Re: What this tyre still seal, would you fit this tyre - Val - 22-01-16 (18-01-16, 12:51 PM)sadlonelygit link Wrote: think what will happen if you get a total deflation at 50mph.............does that scare you. if no, go up in 10mph increments until it does. :agree I always do new perfect tyres on my bike. Car is different can afford second hand tyres if needed. And do us a favor always check your bike other parts as well. I mean chain, brakes, swingarm and especially the exaust pipes connection...do not ask how I know that :rollin |
