Anybody used brake calipers exchange? - Val - 25-10-15 Hello, Does anybody has used brake calipers exchange? I have not done brake servcing and I am pretty sure there are things there which professional mechanic would do better than me :lol The brakes are very important to not potato yourself. Hence the question: Found these guys that do professional refurbishing and brake calipers exchange for £77 each. Sounds like good idea to me? http://powerhouse.uk/content/motorcycle-brakes/motorcycle-brake-caliper-exchange-service.php Re: Anybody used brake calipers exchange? - anutz - 25-10-15 Hi Val, I have used those guys for all my calipers.... 2 Fronts and a FZS1000 Bluespot Rear, did a fine job, no issues since and the bleed nipple weep i had is no more....so i was very happy Not used them for exchange as my bike was in bits when i got them done :lol Anutz! As long as it is softer than Aluminium it won't damage anything and works a treat ![]() Re: Anybody used brake calipers exchange? - Rob R - 26-10-15 "Borrow" your wife/partners best comb, remove all of the teeth except for the last one and file this down to suit the seal groove. After use sneak it back and deny all knowledge. Rob from the dog house.
