I have spent well over £3k in tasteful modification parts and fitting getting this bike properly sorted and runs and handles sublimely with the new suspension set up....the upgraded braking can only be described as awesome....I have had this Dyno'd at 139.52 bhp so its proper quick especially with 15 tooth front sprocket. I have some original spare parts, exhaust in immaculate condition, rear shock in good condition, master cylinder and brake lever in good condition, rear brake disc in good condition. I have all the old MOT's, full service history. The bike is in immaculate condition and regularly gets comments on its condition. It gets thoroughly cleaned after each ride plenty of autosol to keep the shiny bits shiny and hundreds of man hours spent on keeping it in showroom condition....last year it was fully serviced, practically stripped down and rebuilt with many new parts....see list below. • Ivans MB Jet Kit (Full Monty) • Piper Cross Air Filter • Dyno’d at 140 BHP at the Back Wheel • 4 Degree Ignition Advancer • Brembo Master Cylinder • Hel Braided Brake Lines • PFM Brake Discs • SBS Race Sintered Brake Pads • JT Heavy Duty Gold Chain and Sprocket Set (Front 15 Tooth) • Mercury Race Exhaust • Ivans AIS Removal System • New Tapered Head Bearings • Nitron Sport Rear Suspension • Race Tech Progressive Front Fork Suspension Springs • Belly Pan • Rear Hugger • Wheels Powder Coated Black • Renthal Grips • Renthal 773 Handle Bars • Chrome radiator Guard • Chrome Yolk Cover • Chrome Bar Ends • Chrome Frame Plugs • Clear Indicator Lenses • Titanium Nuts & Bolts • Valve Clearance at 24k miles • New Dunlop Roadsmart 2’s Front & Rear • Fresh Coolant, Brake Fluids, Oil & Filter • New Dual Spark, Spark Plugs • Carbs Balanced Bike is located in Glasgow and looking for £3,250....an absolute bargain with all the additions and condition. Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - devilsyam - 14-10-15 Was my thought to along with you can buy a 08 fz1 for that sorta money now that's not me pissin on your fire it's a lot bike for that money but it's been said many times before maybe better taking off the goodies and getting it back to near stock sell the bits do it that way Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - cable tie - 14-10-15 (14-10-15, 02:47 PM)bigbluebear link Wrote: had some silly offers of £2,500 I don't think that's a silly offer, I think your original price is £1k overpriced . If, (that's a big if) I was to sell mine, 07 Gen 1 with 20K on the clock and mod's galore I might at a push in prime biking season get £3500 and get jack for all the original parts, or as DY say's put it back to STD and get £2500 for the bike the best part of £2000 for the bits. Ok it's a load of messing around selling the bits but for an extra £1000 it has to be worth it. Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - Exupnut - 14-10-15 07 Gen 1 ? Yup, 05 bike I think, but first registered on 27/3/07, must be one of the last to be registered. Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - bigbluebear - 19-10-15 Last chance to buy a well sorted bike, price drop to £3,336 (or as close as to a fellow Foccer) as I've now been offered that on a trade in against the new Suzuki GSX S1000f and also the new 2016 Kawasaki Z1000sx from the same dealer.....not made my mind up yet on which one. Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - devilsyam - 19-10-15 If that the dealer offer bbb snap his hand of Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - mickvp - 19-10-15 If that wasn't specifically with all the tweaks BBB then I would be going for that and stripping off the easier bits. It's for everything Mick, including all the spares I have Re: For Sale 2004 FZS1000 Gen 1 - Immaculate Condition - nickodemon - 19-10-15 Take the dealers offer, as you won't get that price for it in a private sale at this time of year.
