Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - Tubz1983 - 13-08-15 The standard mirrors serve their purpose, but I was wondering if anyone has fitted smaller mirrors that are easier to fold in and out during tight filtering that don't interfere with lock to lock steering around traffic (the standard do interfere) Thanks T Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - darrsi - 13-08-15 Mirrors are your cats whiskers, if they get through a space then so do your elbows. I would've thought if they were any narrower you'd be looking at yourself. Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - Arfa - 13-08-15 Just fold them in to go through the tight gaps! Admittedly, I've not quite mastered doing this one handed whilst approaching a tight gap. Now if I had a thumb button to auto fold them in... Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - Paulfzs - 13-08-15 the fazer mirrors hit the bars or hands when folded theyre a pain. I also like the whiskers analogy...very apt... $22 oz bucks on egay for these anyways, they don't vibrate and carry on, i think it was worth it. ![]() Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - Tubz1983 - 14-08-15 Bar end mirrors look like an option, I shall investigate Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - Frosties - 14-08-15 If you look just to the right of the front brake reservoir, you'll find a 10mm tapped hole (may have a plastic cover) - same the other side. These holes give you the option of something like these below which I've just slapped on my Tiger to improve filtering. Endless choice of styles this way and no wider than your bar ends. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PAIR-10MM-UNIVERSAL-MOTORCYCLE-MIRROR-BIKE-MOTORBIKE-REAR-VIEW-SIDE-MIRROR-BLACK-/261252265468?hash=item3cd3d935fc Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - wraith600 - 23-08-15 dont be lazy just take them off :b Re: Smaller Filter friendly mirrors? - midden - 24-08-15 (13-08-15, 09:15 PM)His Dudeness link Wrote: Mine fold back automatically when going through really tight gaps:rollin |
