h1 headlight connector? - Paulfzs - 12-08-15 Anyone know where the hell i can find a h1 connector? i left mine in the fairing when i did the hid conversion now its gone ![]() its got 2 prongs on the bottom and the h1 bulb slots into it, i can only find the plain plastic one that holds the bulb but doesnt have the prongs Re: h1 headlight connector? - darrsi - 13-08-15 https://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/genuineparts/9655/42/yamaha%20fzs%20600%20fazer/headlight?uID=0 Re: h1 headlight connector? - crickleymal - 13-08-15 I got a H4 from Halfords, I would expect them to have a H1 as well. Whatever you do don't buy those ceramic ones from ebay. They look really good but the connectors don't grip onto the bulb prongs very well. I had one on my divvy and it got so hot it melted the insulation off its own wiring. Re: h1 headlight connector? - Paulfzs - 15-08-15 theres plenty in the usa as the honda perlude uses them. i live near a scrappy so i may have a quick ring up and ask. Re: h1 headlight connector? - sinto607276 - 16-08-15 I've just reread your description and you don't need that if you've got your HID in, it's just a spacer really. But you should have one of these http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&id=371345170628&alt=web for your HID to hold it in. ![]() Re: h1 headlight connector? - Paulfzs - 16-08-15 (16-08-15, 05:32 AM)sinto link Wrote: I've just reread your description and you don't need that if you've got your HID in, it's just a spacer really. I have one of those in at the moment but, if i choose to switch back i need the original h1 plug Re: h1 headlight connector? - sinto607276 - 16-08-15 (16-08-15, 02:21 PM)Paulfzs link Wrote:
I have one of those in at the moment but, if i choose to switch back i need the original h1 plug
You sure will, but you won't be in any rush, so a £1 a week for next 13 weeks and you'll get a new one :rollin Re: h1 headlight connector? - Paulfzs - 16-08-15 (16-08-15, 03:52 PM)sinto link Wrote:
I have one of those in at the moment but, if i choose to switch back i need the original h1 plug
You sure will, but you won't be in any rush, so a £1 a week for next 13 weeks and you'll get a new one :rollin
Thats a lot of fuel! i have the money but id feel shafted paying £13!!! for a little connector. |
