Front preload - Nightfury - 31-07-15 Strange question, and more out of interest than anything; Does anyone on here adjust their front preload when you fill up with fuel, and decrease it when the fuel level runs down? The 2000 FZS600 has a 20 litre tank, when full it will hold about 15Kg of fuel. Surely as the fuel runs down it will affect the sag setting and therefore the handling? Re: Front preload - darrsi - 31-07-15 Yes, that certainly is a strange question! :lol And I'd imagine the answers will be a resounding "No." Re: Front preload - fazersharp - 31-07-15 I can see your logic but i dont think that amount of weight difference makes any difference on a road / street bike. Dont the GP bikes have the tank way down low so an emptying tank dose not have so much affect on the center of gravity Re: Front preload - His Dudeness - 31-07-15 I adjust mine mid corner for maximum wopppahh 8) Re: Front preload - darrsi - 31-07-15 (31-07-15, 01:39 PM)His Dudeness link Wrote: I adjust mine mid corner for maximum wopppahh 8) :lol Re: Front preload - midden - 31-07-15 I have noticed Dazza often drops his load after a fill up. In fact I think next adjustment will be Sunday ![]() Re: Front preload - stevie-g1968 - 31-07-15 So, do you twiddle with your knob as your riding along :lol.. no, I dont adjust my preload... fuels not in there long enough ![]() |
