Welcome, you will find an FZ1 to be a totally different beast  to a TDM, but if you get one you won't regret it.

Welcome to the forum  Smile

Can't help you much with FZ1 I am town commuter not touring guy, but I am sure you will like it.

Greetings, and welcome to the foc-ers!

TDM to fz1 is quite a switch! (had both)  Your gonna need a comfy saddle for touring, but a cracking bike for making quick progress.
The gen 1 Fazer is slightly better at touring, but the later model can still do it.
Loads of experience in here to help you with your quest.

:agree Welcome to the fold, stick up a picture when you have one. Since you had an FJ1200 the extra weight of the Fazer will not be a problem for you
