Hi all
Just been looking for a set of crank cases just on the off chance.
Found some old stock ones for a 2000 model but mine is the 2003.
There seems to be variants with part number -00, -01, -02 all which are replaced with the -02 version.
The version I've seen is the earlier one.
I can clearly see that they're backward compatible but are there differences that will effect me having my 03 engine rebuilt onto some 99 model crank cases?
Hopefully this makes sense.

Try here https://www.yamahamotorcyclespares.co.uk/spares/ to find out if they are compatible ie, with the pictures etc
