moto gp: mistake or tear off - midden - 01-07-15

Just watching the Assen  highlights 10 laps to go. The commentators say Rossi makes a mistake, knows it, gives a little left hand to thank Maques  for not running him over.  Looked to me that he was just removing a tear off. Am I wrong, did he make a mistake?

Re: moto gp: mistake or tear off - johnakay - 01-07-15

commentators say owt to  sensationalize things just like news papers.
in other exaggerated bullshit as if we can't see.

Murray "And unless I'm very much mistaken Senna has just made a very rude hand signal to Mansell"

Hunt "No Murray it was a tear off and you should have gone to Specsavers"

Just watched it and i reckon tear off as well. Only watch the highlights occasionally because i hate those 2 commentators.

Easy to see on your 40-whatever inch TV in your living room; a bit more tricky on the piddly little monitors they use when commentating
