motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Paulfzs - 26-06-15 purchased a motrax rear end off sinto (thanks for fast postage) fazer rear is ugly, and my undertray is broken around left indicator so it looks a little sad ![]() fitted with standard under tray ![]() wont work need to trim it soo.. masking tape a straight line and get the hacksaw on it.. it helps to make it as wonkey as possible :rollin ![]() fitted now its cut down.. ![]() looks better... ![]() ![]() Next on the to do list: I might cut it to where the reflector is but i feel it may leave a big gap at the back? i need to order some indicators to replace the ones that are on it now. any ideas on what to do with the back end? Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Andy FZS - 26-06-15 Not quite got the hang of blanking your number plate in pic4 lol. So I'd leave it as long as you can, to give more protection but that's just a personal choice ![]() (26-06-15, 08:17 PM)Andy FZS link Wrote: Not quite got the hang of blanking your number plate in pic4 lol. SIR9 MMM? I don't think is a genuine reg number :rolleyes Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - fazersharp - 28-06-15 Quote:I might cut it to where the reflector is but i feel it may leave a big gap at the back? Here you go, I do have a reflector that is not shown on the picture that is bolted to the bottom of the mudguard which is cut to the bottom of the numberplate (photoshoped) The numberplate is bolted directly to the mudguard. Its a 10 min job from oem to this but you may need a new plate for the new fixing position and holes. I have a hugger but I dont do rain or wet anyway Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Paulfzs - 28-06-15 i will give it a test fit without cutting it down anymore and see how it goes. I need new indicators for it or id just bolt it on but the undertray has seen better days! dreading removing the undertray to get it all in though. Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - odbguy - 28-06-15 I copied Fazersharp not so long back, does wonders for the back end ! ![]() ![]() Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Paulfzs - 28-06-15 waiting on my indicators to show up then i can get modding ![]() the back end is pretty ugly, im tempted to make an led rear light aswell. Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - sinto607276 - 28-06-15 This thread will turn into something else if everyone keeps showing their rear ends :lol :rollin Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Paulfzs - 28-06-15 (28-06-15, 03:44 PM)sinto link Wrote: This thread will turn into something else if everyone keps showing their rear ends :lol :rollin we can only hope ![]() ![]() Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - sinto607276 - 28-06-15 Knew it wouldn't take too long :woot Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - Paulfzs - 01-07-15 new indicators arrived, ripped old ones off.. sheered the bolt on one and broke the other out, all wired up and now i have a disco, they flash way too fast... took cover off to see a 10w t10 bulb :\ ordered 2 21w t10 bulb. not moved up yet as i need to cut some of the undertray as it sticks out too far the plate will be pushing against it. Re: motrax backside, rear end tidy up time. - mr wayneker - 01-07-15 im thinking of doing this my self but don't want to cut anything......is there a tail tidy I can just bolt on in place of (if the end piece comes off that is... it does look in two pieces?) the under tray...with indicators...so what im asking for is the complete set up.. I do like yours paulfzs but I don't want to cut anything just in case... |
