best cover/muck off - mr wayneker - 21-06-15 hi all what size and best cover can you get for a reasonable price?? and how do you rate the muck off product Re: best cover/muck off - darrsi - 22-06-15 Depends if you have a top box or not, XL if you have, there's loads on Ebay for a tenner. Never tried Muc Off stuff, always used car wax shampoo. Re: best cover/muck off - Larsdad - 22-06-15 I've used Muc off a few times. Not bad stuff. Which is good as the lads just got me some for dad's day ![]() Re: best cover/muck off - mr wayneker - 22-06-15 larsdad...exactly what I got..the cleaning kit :lol darrsi no top box...are they water proof?? Best to get one that's has a heat resistant lower half as well. I have used in the past this one, it is important your cover to be breathable so that the bike can dry off after rain ride: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorcycle-Motorbike-Waterproof-Protective-Breathable/dp/B005UUY5HO Muck Off - not very pleased I was expecting more. WD40 cleaner again very weak. Both can't do much for old grime without serious elbow grease. I was using in the past Castrol Greentec and it is better than Muc off and WD40. Again really not happy with these expensive cleaners. Now I just use some cheap car shampoo. Will try soon the cheapest oven foam cleaner that I can find. Re: best cover/muck off - mr wayneker - 22-06-15 the one on amazon looks good thanks all Re: best cover/muck off - bandit - 22-06-15 Hi, I have the xl size that fits a 1998 model (just the bottom of wheels showing), it's alright for light showers as reviews say & keeps the dust off indoors or out but if your looking for something for all year use then look for a thicker one. Re: best cover/muck off - mr wayneker - 22-06-15 ive gone for the amazon one as the wind down here on the south coast will take the bike if the cover is to good :rollin I would have to anchor the bitch down in these south westerly's :eek |
