Recommended courier company to collect, then "package" and deliver? - PJ - 21-06-15

After my recent 3mph wild low sider, I've manage to source a new exhaust, but it's 250 miles "up north" from me. Can anyone recommend a courier company that can collect and more importantly package the exhaust before delivering it to me in the South?
My seller is having difficulty getting a suitable box/protection for the exhaust, due to it's awkward size.
I guess there are some couriers out there that specialise in engine parts?
Any help would be much appreciated...

also i was going to send some suspension forks via courier, i went to the local carpet shop and they gave me some cardboard rolls that the carpets are shipped on, nice fit and sturdy with some bubble wrap

my hermes, will pick up and deliver, but I think the sender would have to do it as you have to print label or he would need a printer and you email it? but it would still need packing, Pickfords would do it but they would send a removal van and 3 men and charge you 2 grand.

Theres so much packaging thrown away by many companies--they have to pay to have it collected so most are only too glad to have someone take away (Best ask though unless its already in skip!). I used reams of bubblewrap then put the whole caboodle in an industrial strength plasic bag-tape up well with brown parcel tape-Post Office wanted to know if it was a gun! :lol Mine went to Ireland and arrived safe.

Loads of bubble wrap and brown tape - no box needed.

For what it's worth, I've been using myhermes and they are great for collection and delivery and always tracked.
Only thing is you have to get the guy to wrap it and put it in a box, that's the hardest part he'd need to do.
If i was closer I'd go and get it and do it for you, can't understand why a seller can't source wrapping material and a box :thumbdown why bother trying to sell something if you can't get it boxed?

Is there any foccer near your seller who'd do the decent thing and go and get it for you, wrap and box it for you? I'm sure a voucher for a couple of beers would be a nice gesture :deal

Where about is the seller? If it's near to me (Glasgow) I'll happily package it and send it on to you
