Which R1 engine is fitted to the 2002 Fazer? - Billy Balthorpe - 07-06-15 I am trying to find the metal coolant pipe which fits between the oil filter and the oil cooler on a 2002 Fazer 1000. Its looking like a bit of a rare acquisition from a blown up Fazer 1000 motor, probably because they rarely blow up. Then I had a thought, I wonder if the equivalent R1 motor would have the same setup? So, which R1 engine is fitted to the Fazer? The ID number would be good too, 4XV or something? Ta. Ive got a price for a new one at £83, ive seen them on the 'Bay for around £35 delivered from the States. Ive found someone breaking an engine on this site, just waiting for him to reply with availability and price. Time is pressing tho, ive got to get this sorted fast.
