02/03 nose fairing on 99 fzs600 - wulfie - 28-05-15
Just a quick question i looked this up on old Google-net and on here but with no luck.
I am just wondering is it possible to fit the 02/03 front nose fairing onto my 1999 fzs600 with little or no modification other than the different lights / bracket and mirrors?
Only reason i ask is my own front fairing is cracked and i cant really be bothered repairing it to paint it as it will most likely crack again anyways. *I am respraying the bike from red met to black*
Anyone who has done this with any tips would be greatly appreciated.

You will need the complete fairing, headlight, fairing main bracket with rubber mounts for mirrors, both side brackets, infills and mirrors. The fairing bracket fits on the same point as the original at the front, but you will need to modify the the frame mounts for the fairing brackets near the tank.The clocks with fit, but you need to modify the wiring loom for to get both lights to work properly

as above, you can but the parts are pretty rare youre looking at £150-£200 to do this if not more.

yeah its starting to sound like it would just be less hassle to get another OE fairing.

Headlight is the killer, just none about and £260 new. Main fairing stay comes up now and again, but tricky finding one not subtly bent from a drop, £136ish new. Many on eBay.de, but no cheaper. Side brackets are about tenner each new, but did see a pair on eBay recently. Foxeye fairing is £180 new, fully painted. Also don't forget the infills, which also don't come up too often, about £54 each new.
