Just been late to sign up. Here she is Re: Hello from belfast - sinto607276 - 18-05-15 Smart looking bike Sam, you'll be well chuffed I'm sure. Is it orange or just the way the lights hitting it? Looks nice. Re: Hello from belfast - Inertia_v1 - 18-05-15 Yes it's orange, seat orange the same as the Leon and coupra. I took of the seat cowl and from time to time I replace it with my girlfriend, the centres of the wheels are also black now with all the alloy polished up ![]() ![]() Re: Hello from belfast - sinto607276 - 18-05-15 (18-05-15, 10:27 PM)Inertia_v1 link Wrote: I'm pretty chuffed indeed and also sad that it decided it liked second gear so much that it wouldn't let me select any otherThat's not good, are you sure it's the linkage, not the clutch? Can you change gear without clutch? Just a thought really Re: Hello from belfast - Inertia_v1 - 18-05-15 Yeah I got a new gearbox on eBay and when I took the engine out I opened it up and found a little piece of metro that came of the shaft where it meets the selector drum, it started with the popping out of second, then the shaft must have broke as a result :/ or mybe something else, there was two pieces of metal the same so I'm guessing it isn't the first time it's happened. That's the main reason I decided just to fit the new engine, incase it's going to be a recurring problem Re: Hello from belfast - sinto607276 - 18-05-15 Two bits the same doesn't sound good as you say, could've happened before, you'll need to get to the bottom of what's caused it, fix that, then it shouldn't happen again. Re: Hello from belfast - Inertia_v1 - 18-05-15 Indeed, I would be back on the road temperarily but I was only expecting to be changing the forks and drum, but unfortunately the box I got didn't come with the shaft as well. Hopfully all with be good again soon and a can work on the customisation side of things ^^^^^ ![]() Re: Hello from belfast - slimwilly - 19-05-15 "BANG" you have been "TANGOed" :lol :lol :lol :lol Very different,,welcome aboard.. Re: Hello from belfast - Inertia_v1 - 19-05-15 It's orange to make up for the tiny indicators lol, I'm not to clued in tbh, just figured I had nothing to lose at that point when she wasnt going, lots of good info here so I gave it a go, thanks for the welcome ![]() Re: Hello from belfast - bigbluebear - 20-05-15 That is one huge fat arse.......bet it wheelies in every gear ![]() Re: Hello from belfast - Inertia_v1 - 25-05-15 Engine swap today, picked up one with 20k on it, feels like Christmas haha |
