Caliper split pin question - Tubz1983 - 16-05-15 Cleaning calipers and fitting new pads today, just a quick question before I begin, the split pin is just pushed through and then pulled out with pliers? I'm sure I've seen other bikes with an Allen key involved, but doesn't look that way on the Fazer.... Thanks again Re: Caliper split pin question - Fazerider - 16-05-15 The front pad pins are held by a pair of small R clips, the rear pins are the Allen head type. Re: Caliper split pin question - darrsi - 16-05-15 If you have any, wire wool is very good for cleaning up the pad pins, then apply a very light smear of copper grease on the pin before refitting. |
