Anyone changed they're headers/downpipes for aftermarket ones? - Fazer Jim - 28-04-15 II'm looking to change my original headers to a set of stainless ones from Sandy Bike Spares. Only £250. It means junking the Exup system entirely but I'm sure my bike Guru who skimmed the head and did a bit of porting will be able to do a bit of carb set up to help. Not on the dyno charts I've seen. ![]() No amount of tuning skill with carbs and intake tweaks will overcome a poorly designed header system. They're cheap for a reason - avoid. Plus the Exup valve on the gen1 makes an aftermarket exhaust silencer sound nice & quiet at low rpm... ![]() |
