Really nice looking bike fella, love the end can which sets it off sweetly.

Very nice looking bike. And I really like the can. What brand is it?  Big Grin

Re: My 1998 Red rocket - Tubz1983 - 17-04-15

The can is from Black Widow Exhausts, based in Sandy Bedfordshire I believe. They are avaliable on EBay Smile

What is the sound like of the can? Does the sound get to much over time? Or is it quieter than the original?

Regarding the can, its a stubby so even with the baffle in it sounds good, maybe a little quiet on tickover for my liking but as soon as u blip that throttle or your rolling it sounds great, ive run it with the baffle out for a day and that sounds far better on tick over, and very loud on the move (earplugs are a must) but it runs terribly lumpy so the baffles back in for the moment, im looking to fit a Kn filter and balance the carbs in the future, but undecided on the baffle situation atm, we shall see.... the only thing i will say is the baffle is a bit of a pig to remove, after unscrewing the allen bolt i had to get a pair of pliers to yank it out  :lol

You can either cut down the inner pipe on the baffle, or make the outer holes a bit bigger, by about 2mm, as a compromise. (if it has them)
At least it will still look legal from plod's first view.
