New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nickodemon - 04-04-15 Here are a couple of pics of new belly pan and hugger from zero limits fitted.. Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - Lez72 - 04-04-15 Stunning. I want it Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nick crisp - 04-04-15 Looks good Nick :thumbup Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - brooker81 - 05-04-15 That's one nice looking Gen1. Makes me kinda miss mine Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nickodemon - 05-04-15 It's kinda scary all the mods that have gone into my bike over the years. I bought it new 10 years ago!!! First major mod was getting Mike to give it the full monty treatment way back in 2006! :eek I think it had roughly 2000 miles on the clock.. Getting that done and the suspension mods have been the best things i have done to the bike. All the other stuff is just cosmetics 8) Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - noggythenog - 05-04-15 Far play that looks well mint 8) Is it jacked up at the rear then??? Something about your bike nicko that guves it more of a Gen 2 stance about it.....it looks beefy....i dunno exactly what it is.......& you've just got the combination of colours and theme just right.......i always do the opposite & completely destroy a theme by going ott or into the ridiculous :\ . Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nickodemon - 05-04-15 It's not jacked up at the back. It has an R6 rear shock with the dogbones supplied by devilsyam, so it should be close to standard. The front end is steeper because the forks are slightly shorter than standard and the offset of the yokes is less. Handling is on a different level to when it was standard. Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nickodemon - 08-04-15 Cheers Mick :thumbup Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - noggythenog - 09-04-15 Thats it Nick it's the seat....tbf youve dne a good job...only just noticd the seat wich means it must suit the bike & not look mickey mouse......actually on refelection...aesthetically id say it is how yam should have made them as it just suits the bike much better....i realise most folk dont care that much & prob prefer the original sofa. Re: New carbon bits fitted to gen 1 - nickodemon - 09-04-15 I find the cut down seat comfier when riding ![]() |
