C-Spanner.. - infiniteloop - 26-03-15 I'm after a C-Spanner to adjust the preload on my '98 Fazer. Have the correct C-spanner....taking the gear shift off to give better access - the guard blocks things a little... It is probably seized. Spray the area above and below the ring with WD40 and turn it down one notch before trying to turn it up. You will need to use the extender on the handle to get the extra leverage.
