just been looking at reviews of tyres and I'm running BT021's on my 600 atm but lots of good reviews for Road Pilots but open to other suggestions on here!! (other than safety / grip I'm looking for longevity as most of my miles on dual carriage ways ,, more touring than sports but do use on A/B roads for half my commute to work)

Tyre threads can become heated debates but the most common recommendations for tyres (imo) are probably going to be; Michellin Pilot Road's (2, 3 or 4) and Bridgestone Battlax (BT023 and T30). If I remember correctly most of the couriers seem to favour the Pilot Road's - I personally like the Bridgestones

Had roadsmarts on my fazer from new the rear used to square off around 5 thousand and it was noticeable by the handling, changed to maxxis diamonds covered 7 thousand and handling was still good even though you could see the rear was starting square off recently traded the bike in but would have been interested how much further I could have gone before the handling went off.
