iPhone 6 plus - solorider - 11-03-15 Got myself a iPhone 6 plus yesterday, what a massive difference to the iPhone 5 in battery life, I have been using the Internet a lot and had the Bluetooth on and I still have 40% battery life, with the 5 it was gasping for energy. And I had 18mb internet speeds inside a building and a 5mb upload speed which is faster than virgin media 50mb fibre optic broad band!! Re: iPhone 6 plus - Dead Eye - 11-03-15 You'll notice the bigger difference also because of the age of the battery. My Galaxy Note 3 had an insane battery life when I first got it over a year ago but it's slowly getting worse. I can still get a good 36-48 hours sometimes but I usually have to charge every day now whereas when it was new I could get 3-4 days out of it. My advantage is that I can buy a new battery if it gets too bad ![]() Re: iPhone 6 plus - noggythenog - 11-03-15 (11-03-15, 11:40 PM)Dead Eye link Wrote: You'll notice the bigger difference also because of the age of the battery. Re: iPhone 6 plus - Exupnut - 12-03-15 It's easy to change an iphone batt. Type it into YouTube for countless vids. I do all the work on Mrs an my iPhone's and mates. Not to difficult and u save a bomb on Apple repair prices. Re: iPhone 6 plus - nsr500v4 - 12-03-15 http://thegeekwhisperer.com/2010/04/01/iprobe/ anyone with an iphone should maybe try one of these too ![]() Re: iPhone 6 plus - hotmetal - 15-03-15 This non replaceable battery business is why I just bought a galaxy note 4 instead of waiting a month for the galaxy S6. Looks like Samsung want to copy even the dumb things that Apple do LOL Re: iPhone 6 plus - R1FSR - 15-03-15 looking forward to the galaxy s6 myself ...although they have done away with the sd card and made it internal memory . PS. my mrs is on her 3rd iPhone 6+ ... 2 have bricked on her but they replaced them no question ...makes you wonder if they know about this problem !? ill stick with my galaxy thanks instead of crapple :b ![]() Re: iPhone 6 plus - BBROWN1664 - 16-03-15 I cant understand the decision to remove the SD card on the S6. I am guessing it is so they can sell more of the higher end models but makes it a pain to upgrade to as you have to copy al your photos and music over rather than just move the SD card. Re: iPhone 6 plus - Dead Eye - 16-03-15 I agree it's a pain, but ultimately I don't think I'm too concerned providing the internal storage is sufficient - minimum 64GB for my needs really Re: iPhone 6 plus - darrsi - 16-03-15 Don't do this....... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-xPHopebiE |
