Driving In Taipei - nick crisp - 04-02-15 I'll stick to England I thinkĀ :lol http://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2015/feb/04/transasia-plane-crash-lands-in-taiwan-river-rolling-coverage Re: Driving In Taipei - fazed - 09-02-15 Yes saw that on the news ........35 died I think. Re: Driving In Taipei - BBROWN1664 - 09-02-15 That could happen anywhere Nick. Well, anywhere where the pilots shut down the wrong engine. Kegworth is in England and something similar happened there a few years ago. Re: Driving In Taipei - richfzs - 09-02-15 At least with the Kegworth one, the warning lights were shown to be wired the wrong way round, if I recall correctly? Re: Driving In Taipei - BBROWN1664 - 09-02-15 There was an element of that Rich. Cant recall which warning/instrument/fire handle combination was at fault but I was with BA at the time and had a few aircraft to check as a result. |
