WANTED - FZ1 front foot peg assemblies with gear linkage. - noggythenog - 27-01-15
as above please.
To replace my Gilles rear sets as the tosser that sold me the bike bumped me on the original bits supposed to be included.
Must be in excellent condition.

Well it hasnt been the most comfortable for me tbh but ive finally decided to bite the bullet so im getti g these poxy Gilles things off and going for normal pegs, air hawk seat cover thingy & a nice set of gold Renthal ultra low bars......oh & possibly get the forks looked at and some softer springs or lighter oil, new sporty tyres, service and MOT........then i might be cooking wi gas.......but ill have tried all i can.........maybe eek out a couple more years on it while i save for something newer.

my apoligies sorry mis informed
im still convinced a afternoon with me and we can sort it
i too not keen on the gilles as the peg digs in me foot so went back to the stockers
but the position i had them was more or less same as stock so concluded it was the footrest inself as at the mo im having some made the same length as the stockers

Might have to take a trip to Brizzle in the summer then, yep i had suspicions the standard pegs might not actually be positioned any differently but i hope they're further down for a little more leg room, the tiny Gilles peg is too slippery in the wet on my boot plus so short that i scuff the outside of my boot on the tarmac which freaks me out so a standard peg will scraoe earlier but not overly alarm me i think.
If i can get it a bit more comfy ill be reasonably happy with it....never be my dream bike coz too many wee bits n bobs that arent perfect but it aint a new bike, ill just use and abuse it and get my moneys worth.

Them airhawks are good, but expensive, I got one for me and the missus, if you wanna borrow one for a month or longer before you splash the cash, make sure you like it, you are more than welcome old mate, I'll post it to ya

Thanks Ogri, thats very kind of you but i think ill take the plunge as i havent seen a bad review about them yet and you get what you pay for.
Out of interest though theres a Medium cruiser for about £90.......but theres also an R version for £160 :eek .......which did you get?
