Hi Guys, im looking for some advice. on riding into work today my headlights kept turning off, it seemed to be dirty switch contacts.

Don't take it apart.... Sorry!

I found it a nightmare in my cozy garage, patience and more patience was the key. Good luck!

Yep I agree, Don't TAKE it apart!!!
It's together again now but took an extra pair of hands and some fine tweezers plus the patience of a saint.
If anyone has issues I suggest you open the cluster and spray with  contact cleaner, work all the switches repeat and finish with a spray of wd40.
I do not recommend  getting to the contacts(especially oif you need the bike in a few hours!)
